Links Literacy

WASHINGTON LITERACY CENTER
GOLF TOURNAMENT
THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO PARTICIPATED IN OUR
2ND ANNUAL LINKS 2 LITERACY GOLF TOURNAMENT
On June 25, 2024, our 2nd Annual Links2Literacy Golf Tournament was held at Laurel Hill Golf Club in Lorton, Virginia. We enjoyed a great day of golf and fun (and heat!) that brought together a community of golfers, friends, sponsors, and volunteers. The success of this event was a testament to the collective effort and support from each and every participant. All proceeds go to help us fulfill our mission to raise the literacy level of adults in the DC metro area so that they may function on the job, in the family, and in society.
We especially thank the Honorary Tournament Chair Former Rep. Edolphus "Ed" Towns (D-NY), Honorary Co-Chairs and Host Committee members for their support of this event that helps WLC achieve it’s mission of improving adult literacy and workforce development in the DC metro area:
Our heartfelt gratitude goes out to our sponsors, tournament chairs, tournament committee, host committee, WLC staff and volunteers, whose efforts made this day possible and contributed to the overall success of the tournament!
We look forward to next year’s Links2Literacy Golf Tournament. Please plan on joining us for a great day of fun and golf in 2025. Thank you for your support!
